To keep your account secure, you can change the Coinmerce app’s 4-digit PIN at any time. To do this, tap “Account” in the bottom-right corner of the navigation bar in the app.
In the menu that appears, select the “Security” option.
Within the security settings, scroll to the ‘PIN’ section. Here you will see the ‘Change PIN’ button.
Once you tap this, the app will ask you to enter your current PIN for verification. This is an extra check to confirm that you are indeed the account owner.
After you’ve successfully entered your current code, a new screen will open where you can choose your new 4-digit PIN. Enter your new code and then repeat it to confirm the change. The new PIN will be active immediately and will be required whenever you open the app from now on.
If you no longer remember your current PIN, you’ll find the “I Forgot my PIN” option on the verification screen. When you tap this, you’ll be guided through a process to confirm your identity so you can still set a new access code.
