Would you like to exchange your cryptocurrencies for Euros? In the Coinmerce app, you can easily and quickly manage this via your personal wallet. In this article, we explain step-by-step how the selling process works and which options you have.
Note: The minimum sale amount at Coinmerce is €10.
Step 1: Start the sale
When you are logged into the Coinmerce app, you are directly on the Wallet page. This is the starting point for your sale. Below the chart, you will see four round blue buttons. Tap the Sell button (marked with a minus sign).
Step 2: Choose the asset you want to sell
You will now see the 'My assets' overview. Tap the cryptocurrency you want to sell (e.g., USDC or Bitcoin).
Step 3: Choose your order type
You are now in the input screen. Before entering the amount, you can select the desired order type at the top of the page. By default, the app is set to a Direct order. Tap the 'Direct order' menu if you wish to change this:
Direct order: Sell your cryptocurrency immediately at the current market price. Ideal if you want instant access to your Euro balance.
Trigger order: Set a specific price at which you want to sell. The order remains open until the market hits this price. Useful for waiting for a price increase without constantly monitoring the app.
Auto-Sell: Plan recurring sell orders to cash out a portion of your profits at set times.
Step 4: Specify how much crypto you want to sell
Below the selected order type, indicate how much of your crypto you wish to sell. You have two options:
Manual entry: Type the amount in Euros or the number of coins.
Percentages (Shortcuts): Use the 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100% buttons to quickly select a portion or all of your holdings. Then press the Sell (or Preview) button.
Step 5: Check the sale (Preview)
You will now see a summary of your order on the 'Preview' screen. Check the following details:
Spending: The number of coins you are selling.
Price asset: The current exchange rate.
Trading fee: The transaction costs.
Total: The final amount in Euros you will receive.
Step 6: Confirm the sale
Verify that all details are correct. Then tap the large blue Confirm sell button. Your coins are now sold, and the Euro amount will be credited to your Coinmerce wallet immediately.
