We would like to inform you that, from 2 March 2026, Coinmerce will no longer support deposits and withdrawals of USDC on the platform.
Under the European Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCAR), these stablecoins are classified as Electronic Money Tokens (EMTs). As a result, additional licensing requirements now apply to offer deposit and withdrawal services for these crypto-assets.
What does this mean for you?
Deposits of USDC will no longer be supported from 2 March 2026.
Withdrawals of USDC will no longer be supported from 2 March 2026.
Buying, selling, and holding USDC on Coinmerce will remain available.
This change does not affect trading functionality.
Our apologies for the short notification window. Through our ongoing efforts, we hope to soon resume deposit and withdrawal services for USDC.
No further action is required if you plan to continue holding or trading USDC on Coinmerce.
