Yes, it is possible to activate Earn using the app. Below in the menu bar, you'll find a button that redirects you to the Earn page in the app. On this page, you can see which cryptocurrencies are available to Earn and what the reward percentages are. If you have already activated Earn you can see that on this page as well.
